Process:
I began by sketching some ideas for a movie poster and choose one named "Illuminate".
I wasn't fully satisfied with that title and design so I experimented with the idea of a "Re-do" which lead to my suitcase idea with the title being "Here I go Again". I really liked the idea of having the movie name inside something from my initial idea of "Illuminate" in a spotlight so I choose to place the movie name in the suitcase.
Then I drew up my design on Photoshop, carefully trying to design around the rule of thirds.
Then I exported my sketch to Adobe Illustrator and began colouring in the forms and adding text.
Then I added more depth to the tile to make it stand out more as well as additional text and headings making sure to keep the font types similar. After some consideration, I decided to adjust the bottom text as it was difficult to read. This created an awkward look so I adjusted the other headings to create a sense of proximity.
